Sometimes it's nice not to get raped by tanks, choppers, APC's & Arty.
I do miss the Dune Bugees, Humvees & Blackhawks though(walking on some maps can take all day).
Too bad you can't just include them.

Yep, I like IO the most in battlefield 2. I think this mode takes the most skill.. except jets, they take skill imo.

Must be my used-to "ness" to Halo type gameplay, though.

Yeah IO is nice, especially in maps that start out even. You can really see which side has the better tactics and the side who just goes flag hopping and end up losing. And they amass more in IO. I wouldn't mind seeing one artillery shot knock out some 15+ infantry. Would be a nice streak LOL. And IO does take some skill especially with controlling your sprint and shooting ranges and positions.

The thing I hate with IO is that we lose a great part of bf2. The battlefield franchise has always turned around vehicles, then in IO, we completely remove them and we go back to archaic gameplay.

Its wasting a great part of the gameplay..

edit : imo, a good bf2 player should be able to use every vehicles, in every situations. You might be a good infantry player, but not necessarily a "good bf2 player".
