Erm....South Africa and Zimbabwe are two different countries. South Africas new government at least does not discriminate, whereas the Mugabe regime is totally corrupt and racist. The interesting thing is that when South Africa was run by the whites, everyone condemned them (and rightly so might I add) but now it is the other way around and there is barely a whisper about it.

Unless of course you meant southern Africa, as in the southern countries on that continent.

It might have something to do with the fact that the land was gained through the brutality of imperialism.  Just maybe.

Of course, it'll probably backfire on Zimbabwe like it has elsewhere: the whites are the only ones with the skills to farm the land, so it hurts the economy otherwise.
