I saw this spanking new forum and thought I could contribute with a guide, haxing.

WARNING:
If you learn anything from this guide you will most likely be whined/accused for cheating. Therefore, hax on your own risk.

What is "Haxing"?

Well, it comes from the word hack, therefore cheat. To be more precise, wallhack.
When we are talking about "haxing", it is usually you getting hit through a wall.

How to "hax"?

It's not just shooting at a wall. Think a little about where you would stand if you were behind that wall you're aiming at. In this guide I will show screenshots from haxing map #1, de_nuke.

Nuke is my favourite map for haxing. Almost the whole map is made of thin walls and good oppurtunitys for haxing.

Haxposions: As I already said, the enemy is most likely right where you would be standing, thereforem learn where you are going to shoot through to hit the enemy.

Shooting Height: Something many people don't consider when spraying a the wall is that it is favourable to shoot in about headheight.

Sound and IQ: Listen carefully after where the enemy is. Headset is definately favourable.
Also, press stopsound (bind "button" stopsound) when you shoot. That way the shooting sound is stopped, but if you press right after you shot, you easily hear if you hit the enemy.

Know the maps: Make your own server, spectate the maps and find out hver it is good to hax.

Pictures and Files: Here you get some posisjons from nuke, dust, and aztec.

Green means that is is better to hax from the side the picture is taken
Red means that is is better to hax from the other side the picture was taken from.

The arrows show what angle you should shoot from to hit best.

Not having played counterstrike (apart from one night in an internet gaming cafe) I must say that all your guide says to me is..

don't play counterstrike, it's populated by cheaters like the threadstarter.

I think you misunderstood the point, it is a legitimate tactic. If it wasn't the walls would be coded to stop bullets.

Ewww, 1.6. Yuck. Get with the times and play Source.
In fact, I ditched CSS for BF2 almost a year ago now and I dont miss it 1 bit. CSS is way to unbalanced and its playerbase is more fucked up than that of BF2.

i really don't get why people still play 1.6 and argue that its better than source. I guess people just like how vac doesn't really care if you have hacks for 1.6 considering that almost 3/4 of people who play 1.6 have hacks for it...source is a better game than 1.6

yeah its not...if u play the game long enough you learn that those spots you can shoot through to hit people...unless you have a smg...

Errr, I played CSS for over a year and was never able to shoot through those walls.
You can on the wooden doors (like you can the tin walls on karkand and other maps) - but not the solid stone.

The ones for nuke dont apply except for the vents and doors. Same with Aztec and Dust2.

..we all have issues with DICE's work on bf2. Lots of bugs and weaknesses in the game that allow other players to cheat to get a competitive edge.

Then I checked out the 'other titles' forum here on bf2s, and found this...

Counter-strike is horrible to play if you are a newbie to the game. Hacks are so easily availible. When I played they was always an occurance of speed hacks, aimbots, and wall hacks. (Aimbot and wll hacks almost always used together) Then when there are no more hackers the CAL-M guys come in and wipe the floor with you 30 out of 31 times.

It was the intention of the original developers of CS to make the walls penetratable, which is why 1.6 allows you to shoot people through unrealistically thick walls, albeit with a damage penalty. Keep in mind that the original CS is a very old game.

CS:S barely lets you do this, you can shoot through wood but you can't hit someone who's jumping off a roof 150 meters away with a deagle through a crate in the head (as in the Bombsight movie)

edit: reading the posts above, I remember now how anti-CS most players here are, and how ironically ignorant.

Erm from what a gather in that thread you linked to his "haxing" is actually just the fact that you can shoot though thin walls, it's not cheating in any way shape of form, TBH I don't see why he applied the term to it.

Steam sucks in general. Especially the admins, there's so many servers out there with admins on it all the time. Too many little kids found the money to run their own servers and become admins on them, only problem is, they're all busy admining their own servers, that nobody else is coming to theirs. Trust me guys, the admins are worse in Steam. All they do is criticize you if you just ask for a map change. They're also the lamest of players. I was playing CS once it was 2v2, me and a friend and the two admins. I killed one and he reconnected to the server so he could respawn in the same round. Everybody also gets $16000 for pretty much anything in the game now too. I miss the good old days of CS 1.3 with good admins and good gameplay. Ever since then, it's all whiney babies who can't bunny hop so they removed it. Accuracy is terrible in the game now, a lot worse than the hitreg in BF2. The list is endless! All I have to say is don't even bother trying CS, it's a waste of time and money at this point, a lost hope.

it's ok if you know everyone on the server, can be a laugh.
I dont play cs much at all, used to from either 1.1 or 1.3 and I used to enjoy it.
I only have the occasional game now, usually gun-game and usually with people I know/trust
there are alot of cheaters, but there is more accusations/teamkilling, I used to admin a load of servers for a gsp not some random clanserver and I wasnt able to enjoy having a game 1/2 the time because I had to respond to admin_needed calls and ban some ass all the time.
