-Pilots are allowed to rearm, repair, and even land if they want to.
-The round must be restarted after a kill has been verified.
-Both pilots must agree on a way to signal they're ready for takeoff. This can be a simple "go" at the start of the round. Abuse of this leads to a default win for the entire match for the opponent.
-in the event of a draw, the game becomes 'sudden death'. The person who wins the 11th round wins.

This is now a 32 person tournament

Primitive date for round 1 is Friday, December 29!

ya defently wake airshow so you can have the same jets against each other rather than a f-18 vs a mig.

There is no skill in BF2 dogfighting

If it was even remotely realistic, you would red out and black out for a start

Plus the jets would move at a realistic speed, not 30mph

Those are all the proper rules I can think of for now.

Mong0ose, seriously, fuck off. No, BF2 is not realistic, and it's FUN because of it. I don't want blackouts when I'm flying. And yes, the physics could be better, but they're not, and it's still fine. Go deconstruct some other thread.

I have a server available for fights, however I'll have to arrange for wake airshow to be installed on it first.

I'd like to see 1vs1 dogfights, no AA, only F-18's vs. MiG-29's. What do you guys think? I dont like Airshow because you can grab a J-10, or screw up and grab the wrong jet (ie: hop in an F-35 vs. a MiG, then have an excuse when you get shot down...."but I was in the F-35!!!"). The F-18/MiG matchup is probably the closest to a "fair fight" as you can get.
