Should there be another way to get up to the higer deck on the titan

Ok, so.. On the very rare occasion I actually play titan mode instead of going afk as commander (as I am now, sorry if you're on my team) I try and defend but i get pissed off cos if i fall off the top bits i have to walk all the way back round the titan to blow up those pesky attackers with my beloved RDX, now this gets tedious after a while.

Do you think there should be another way?

Yeah some stairs would be nice or a grapple hook,not really sure what but there should be a way of getting back up there alot quicker.

There couldn't be a ladder of any kind 'cos that would just get claywhored, and you cant crouch up a ladder.

if you could go another way, the attackers wouldn't have so much time to be inside enemy titan without being shot... that would cause the titan consoles/core exploding to be very hard.

And I can see why it's a good thing that it's hard for the defending team to get up there but also from the attacking teams point of view, if you try and fly a transport up to the top deck 99/100 times you will get shot down by the AA no matter how careful you are. So an easier way up from the bottom deck could be an ideal solution.

Definately a way to get to the top from the back, like on the EU titan, would be good. Much more attractive to put explosives in the vents then

Well it would be nice but thats not the main problem. Even with ladders or somthing similar, combat inside the titan would still be complete and utter shit. Titan and everything in it is just too small to allow any kind of proper tactics.

if you want to get to the top of the deck...pod onto it either through an APC from the ground or from your own titan. Squad beacons are your friend.

The only thing i think should happen is that you should be able to blow up the top 2 consoles before the taking out the bottom ones. (none have shields) that way you can avoid nade spamming a bit...

I think that would make it too easy and getting a team to defend 1 console is hard enough than getting them to defend 4 at once.

No, attacking is easy if you bother to be organised. Those people that you think can defend don't have a freaking clue really. I had a squad of 3 with me on the titan the other day and we took out their whole titan by ourselves with pretty much the whole team (24) defending it.
