Murauer Preisel&Bier
It's a mix of beer with cranberry juice with 2.5% alcohol.

While I don't like beer in general, nor most other beer+juice mixtures, I quite like that one.
Low bitterness from the hops, but also not too sweet since cranberries are rather sour compared to other fruit juices normally used for beer mixtures.

While in Japan we had a choice between Asahi and Sapporo most of the time, with Sapporo being my favourite of the two. See if you can get your hands on some, I haven't seen any here though.

since touring round Bavaria in the summer it's all about Paulaner, couldn't believe my luck finding a bar/cafe selling it at the Rialto bridge in Venus. Italy, last weekend - even if it was 7 euro a beer, eeeek WTF like!! i'll never complain about the price of drink in Dublin again..

I'm not much of a beer guy - I must admit I drink it more for the alcohol than the actual taste.

I prefer lagers to ales, and I tend to go with Carlsberg Export as that's my so-far favourite that's sold on-the-bottle here. I also tend to buy 24x cans of Tennents for £10 when Tesco has a sale, lol.

I'd be happy to take some lager recommendations..
