This is what I just bought and it runs BF2 at the exact settings I just mentioned. Plus I'm running only 1.5 GB of RAM as well:

Well it's hard to future proof when DirectX 10 cards aren't available but will be early next year. That's why I was perfectly content to plop down just a cool $140 to play BF2 on high res until the next gen cards come out. It's too late in the game to "future proof" a machine by getting a high end DX9 video card.stryyker wrote:
