Ok, I'm compiling a list of things that the BF2 community wants in Patch v1.5.

Directions: Make your suggestion clear and to-the-point.  No more than two or three sentences for each item.  A numbered list of your suggestions will help me compile the list.

There are three sources for suggestions:
1.  EA BF2 Suggestions Forum
2.  BF2S BF2 Improvements Forum
3.  Planet BF2 Forums.


From each of those, I will compile a list of things that we want in BF2 Patch v1.5.  The hope is that EA will give a carefully compiled list of changes, to be included in EA BF2 Patch v1.5, serious consideration.

Here's just one of the many ideas you've all mentioned, please add your ideas:

1.  Make an Official EA BF2 Patch v1.5.

Getting rid of the constant CTD's would be nice.... I prefered the server crashes to me crashing. At least it wastes less of my time.

Get rid of that delay between prone and crouch. Just put everything back the way it was in 1.12. The only modification to that patch should be to fix the hotel glitch.

1. Bunny hopping/Dolphin diving restored
2. shockpaddles fixed
3. Blackhawks restored to original power
4. All planes balanced
5. Turn FF back onto claymores permanantly
6. Make standing headshots with a sniper hard again

Not really. #1 would be lame. There's a reason they took it out. It should never come back. Try getting some skill so you don't need to bunny hop or dolphin dive like a loser.

The rest would be ok. Although for #5 I'd settle for just having the clays removable by an engineer.

edit: Except take out the part where you get negative points every time you kill a teamate with artillery.

1.get a new patch team,current one could'nt patch a cut with a 6ft plaster.
2.bring back the old jet dogfighting,not this who can spam missiles the quickest shit.
3.restore bh gun & upgrade the cow's guns to compensate.
4.bring back the REFRESH browser option,or at least fix it so when u click a server name it'll refresh.
5.dont add useless shit noone asked for.

They won't make another patch. 2142 is coming out in a few weeks and there attention will be fixed to that. Besides, the game is perfectly fine as it is anyway.

WHats wrong with the shock paddles? I really dont notice any of the bugs, i concentrate on the positives of BF2 not the negatives.

i want c4 throwing, super accurate MACHINE GUNS, unlimited claymores, balanced jets, back to bunnying hopping and dolphin dive, and super powerful blackhawk and transport heli, and slower and longer distance tv missile, let fire and jump again, and make unlocks better than normal weapons, and no more crashing

1. Fix the shock paddles - this way when I try to revive someone, it actually revives rather than just zap while the person lies there staring at me.

2. Fix the AT/Mounted rockets. - They tend to either go through the target, or make the noise but dont fire at all (mounted mainly on this part)

3. Fix the Tank blasts - I see a tank recoil, but sometimes I never see the yellow blob of a shell, or the impact....I just die from a tank because it looked at me and made an odd bouncing motion.

4. Fix the grenade launcher attch. - I dont use these that often, but when I do see people using them, its similar to the tank problem, I will hear the noise, see a trail of smoke, and then see the trail of smoke disappear into the ground, while the enemy nearby dies from an invisible impact.

5. I cannot think of anything else.

Bring back patch 1.2 or before.

Fix the game - Quit making the J-10 more of a powerhouse. Even noobs can gun and kill APCs now.

Go back to 1.12. Correct the bugs in 1.12. Add the new features, (RTJ, IO, Vehicle drop), without creating bugs. Simple as that.
