With the new introduced BBCode postings get more and more colored. Imho it's already annoying to read postings in several colors a.s.o.

Is there a way to disable BBCode formats like color, bold, italic, highlight etc?

If not, why not?

the only 'bright' addition is the this... which is a plug in (for want of a better word) for punBB. The colour can be changed in the code...

I don't mind the text colors so much ... but the highlighting has gotten on my nerves. Maybe a more subtle color would be softer on the eyes. If not, I'll probably just get used to it ...
