He lied before, impeach him. This is worse than someone getting a blow job.
The terrorists do ALOT worse to our CIVILIANS. Now while tourture I dont like a whole lot Im pretty sure we never did sign the Geneva Convention although I AM pretty sure that the Iraqis signed it. Although I might be wrong there.
As if they haven't made mistakes and tortured civilians before. How do you know they only do it to terrorists? And, besides which, terrorists may kill people but they rarely torture them.
In today's world, I don't think there are any rules the world follows. Iran has nukes, America has a dictator, Israel is at war (again). The only statement I think most people agree to is that there can be no rules until there is peace, which there is not.
USA signed the Third Geneva Convention (the one about POW's) in 1949.Capt. Foley wrote:

Almost every country on this planet has ratified the Geneva Convention. The USA signed it in August 1949 when the UN was founded and is one of the "founding" members.Capt. Foley wrote:

Even further whoosified interrogation guidelines and judicially authorized detainment from the CIA of 9/11 masterminds and other high priority terrorists? Poor, poor Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. Get a fucking clue. Oh but wait, "the CIA might be torturing kittens!" I'm sure.
Then don't sign conventions you won't respect later.Havok wrote:

Who knows what they do? The fact is Bush first said something and then admitted he lied. An impeachment over here please.Mike_J wrote:

How fortunate for leaders that men do not think.

I find that very hard to belive that that is a actual quote. Hitler thought of himself as a practicle god. And also I dont think its a great idea to use a quote from one of the biggest idiots in world history to prove a point...
How unfortunate for leaders that most men doubt everything.splixx wrote:

Oddly enough would you really want the world knowing where we keep them? If we did that then hell half of the US population would be down there trying to kill them (if it wasnt in Cuba anyways). The terrorists are probably a heck of a lot safer there with the CIA and the CIA's interrogation (which is probably just sodium penthanol anyways). Although If Jack-Slapping a known idnetified terrorist around a bit is going to get the troops home any faster and potentially save the life of just one innocent person in the world. Then Im all for it. But then again, If hooking a monkeys brain up to a car battery is gonna help find a cure for cancer, Heck Ive got an Optima Red Top they can borrow.
I find it funny how we seem to turn our backs on the same rules we help create. Hard to believe that quote? Hardly. You can defend them all you want. The rules are in place and "they" not just Bush broke them.
Idiot?!, he nearly took over the world, & the quote was right on. Why do you think governments turn into what they do...
As far as Hitler goes if he had not been on that diet he might not of lost his mind , thats when the stupid decisions started.
The world dodged the bullet at great cost... and a little help from poor nutrition.
On Bush... are you surprised?!

Comparing the Bush Administration/CIA to terrorists is interesting. On one hand, you have a "Christian" leader surrounded by other members of the "Moral Majority" condoning and supporting inhumane policies (alleged/proven torture and indefinite incommunicado detainment). On the other hand, you have "Muslim extremists" carrying out terrorist acts and adopting inhumane policies. The West (North America, Western Europe) is supposed to be an enlightened society, civilized. Why is it ok and even condoned for our so-called civilized country to go along with these practices but deplorable for the terrorists?
Let me tell you this.........this is no secret. Obviously I dont know where the "secret" prisons are, nor do I care where they are. But seriously....its the CIA, what do you expect? Just because the government has secret prisons that you dont know about, doesnt mean that they should tell you. Yes your American, the most free nation in the world, but the government does alot you dont know about, I dont see the point in getting so bent out of shape about the CIA having prisons you dont know about.
The way I look at it, just get over it. I wouldnt imagine this has severely interrupted your daily life to find this out. But this is no secret really. Just let them be, the secret prisons that are keeping terrorists and interrogating them dont effect your daily life that much do they? Other than they are keeping people inside who would majorly have an effect on your day, what is the big deal? That Pres. Bush denied we have secret prisons? Well, this isnt the first time the government....ANY government for that matter keeps information from its people. Its people dont need to know everything that goes on, or even the location of these prisons. I say just move on with your day.

Might been a bit of the drugs he was taking also... Diet no idea where he was going with that... But he sure moved people through speeches and media... Really hard to believe that he got his place in office after The Reichstag Fire. Amazing someone could pull off a fake act and then get a nation to believe everyone was an enemy. But all in all the man was pretty damn crazy.TrollmeaT wrote:
