Blair urged to go by Labour MPs

A group of normally loyal Labour MPs have written to Tony Blair urging him to quit as prime minister, the BBC understands....
It's time for this neo-con warmongering freemason to get his marching orders.

Yeah quit you lying ass,
Mr I'll do what ever to get me a bit of GWB's ass
I'm gonna ignore the country's opinion and do what I wanna do

The thing is, we moan about this party and I can garantee the next party or leader that comes in to power will get moaned about

What I want to know is, why when you go to vote is there not a box saying "none of the above I have no confidence in any of the parties running for election"
That way the government would be able to assess the amount of absentee voters that are to lazy to vote and the ones who didn't vote because they did not like the look of any party

In all honesty I've a lot of respect for Tony Blair as he really did try to resolve the conflict in my home and no matter what people say about him, he and his early cabinet (especially Mo Mowlam God rest her) were the First British politicians to really give a fuck about the NI situation and were brave enough to take the massive steps that were required (Israeli could learn a lot from them tbh) to bring about a peaceful resolution to the conflict and they stopped the killings on my streets & removed the Gun from our politics - he just made a major fuck up about Iraq.

That's what annoys me. People always say things along the lines of, if you didn't vote, you can't complain. But that's not true, as a lot of the time, all parties are so useless, you don't want to vote for any of them. It's not a problem with voter apathy we have in the UK, it's crap political parties. I reckon for the next one, unless there is someone half decent to vote for, we should all boycott (sp) voting until someone decent decides to run. I'm sure we could manage without a government for a while.

Or we should all just vote for the Official Monster Raving Looney Party! Still the best party out there, just a shame they can't afford to run in places like London...

Here's a party I'd vote for:

The Vendetta Party:
A vote for V is a vote for anarchy!

If anyone wants to donate cash or run as a representative let me know.

I agree with Calibre. Blair is partly responsible for sorting the mess out in Ireland. Although the conservatives were talking to the IRA they did it in secret. They didn't want to be seen as negotiating with terrorists. Blair and particularly Mo Mollan (great politician) stood up and admitted they had to talk to the IRA to move us forward. So I think Blair has done a good job with Northern Ireland.
For a supposed socialist party the labor government under Blair have privatized everything but oxygen. (I'm waiting on a bill coming in on my annual oxygen usage anytime soon if brown takes over) I know the conservatives started it, but Blair carried it through with should speed. He should have stopped IMO. Look at the state of the national health service now. Its more like a business. Yes it was bad under the conservatives, but it was OUR NHS, its now owned by investors and money orientated trusts.
His biggest fuck up was following Bush into Afghanistan and Iraqi. Going against the wishes of the majority of his ppl. So 80% of the population didn't want to go to war, but he went anyway. He was misguided I think. He thought he had to to keep out USA reliant economy afloat and steaming ahead, when in-fact he should have been embracing Europe and taken on the Euro increasing trade with our neighbors. Ive kept a keen eye on Blair over is "reign" as I think he is a genuine person who has although misguided done what he thinks is best for the nation, even going to war. I think now he is regretting it, but knows if he pulls out of Iraqi, America will be on their own and find it even harder to legitimize the war and the USA would be pissed as hell and fuck with trade and the British economy.
When he goes whats the alternative? Brown is set to take over running the country without being elected. I don't trust him, he does a weired thing with his mouth when he is talking and he has a false smile.
Cameron and the conservatives are likely to get elected at the next general election. He portraying the conservatives to be more left wing than labor ATM. But I'm sure if they get elected they will go back to their own right wing ways.

BNP FTW. No really, the other parties suck so much, and immigration is becoming such an issue, that I wouldn't be at all surprised if at the next elections the BNP increase their number of seats.
