Ok, so I got my first 2 unlocks, and instead of spending them immediately, i thought I would come to the intelligent to help me out.

I like to play support quite a bit. It works well for the guys that I play with nightly. Also, I'm better with that gun then any other gun. (i have developed a habit of going prone and unloading a few too many rounds)

I do; however, switch it up at any time....my secondary's are spec-ops, assault, anti-tank.

I have heard some good thinks about the medic upgrade, but we got a guy in our squad who usually runs that.

Well, that's my story. 2 upgrades, and wanting to spend them effectively. Thanks in adnavce.

If you use the SEARCH button above, type in "unlocks" and search only in "topic subject only", you will find a ton of advice (11 pages) on the pros and cons of choosing particular unlocks.

Specifically, you might find this thread on the Best & Worst unlocks to be particularly valuable.  And, here is an opinion poll of the best unlocks in the game.

Also, this should be posted in the BF2 - Help section rather than the BF2S - Help section.

Good to tell him to search, but nice to let himm of a bit because he's fairly new.
Anyway, to the matter in hand, get the PKM and (if you can) the MG36. I hope you'll like the MG36 (best support weapon tossed by many because of the [inferior] PKM).

From my side, I recommend PKM (support) and G36E (medic) for the first two unlocks!
