"We have developed a technology that produces free, clean and constant energy. This means never having to recharge your phone, never having to refuel your car. A world with an infinite supply of clean energy for all."

What do ye make of this? Hogwash or genuine?

That, sure as hell, won't be revealed until it's patented and proven to work.

What's amusing is that they have set the criteria for the tests on their own technology.  Nothing like an indepedent test, eh?

It's probably some test, such as the technology being solar, wind-powered, or geothermal.  Solar is not constant, wind can be fickle and requires large turbines, and geothermal requires massive plants, so I don't think any of those would fit.  Anyways, they have to be getting the energy from somewhere, but I think it's some sort of April Fool's joke.

Check their website. Apparently it has to do with rotating magnets - it has an efficienty of over 100% and it doesn't degrade the components of the device! They're so confident in it that they took out a 1 page ad in the international magazine 'The Economist' and are getting together a panel of scenitists to validate the technology.

Exxon will not allow it unless they control the rights.

EDIT: Spelling. I just woke up and my posts are messes.

Some other people said...

"Bullshit"

The first talker happened to be right though. Give them a chance to prove it, then say bullshit.

@Ikarti, if this does what it says, Exxon wont be able to do a thing about it.

Right now, it looks like just an interesting theorey, that probably won't pan out.

But I do hope it works, it would be amazing.
Good to be back.

I'm skeptic. It isn't following any scientific channels, and they sure can keep a secret for something this amazing.

I can tell one thing, it isn't what you expect.

Quickly threw this together in paint.

https://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m66/method527/Magnets.jpg

From my understating of this, the opposing forces of the magnets keep the negatively charged magnet in a constant rotation.  It then works roughly the same as a windmill in how it collects energy, through the constant rotations of the central magnet.  Is this what they are trying?

From what I understood though, the power generated wasn't sufficient or practical, dunno if they made it better though.  I hope they get it working.
Good to be back.

And probably really really dead...

If I stumbled upon the ultimate energy solution I would watch my back very carefully to avoid oil stained assassins.

LOL, rotating magnents huh.  Well it is a hoax.  I could design a web page and claim a bunch of crap too.  According to the above picture it would not work.  You just created a picture of a perpetual motion toy that has been around for years, sooooooo, I thought CameronPoe was an Engineer?????

If breaking the laws of physics was that easy it would have been done years ago by Bill Nye the Science Guy.

Wow spittle, way to be hard headed. Two forum members make conjecture about the subject and you decide based on their conjecture that it is a hoax. And I'm sure you don't have the artistic ability to create a site that nice.

They're up to something, the question is what.

This whole thing reminds me of that cold fusion claim 15 years (or so) back that never materialized. I'm hopeful, skeptical and worried all at the same time.

I won't believe anything until I see it with my own eyes and read the proofs and reasoning. Hence my question: 'Hogwash or genuine?'
