I must be missing something. He's basically saying "as soon as we are big enough, bad enough, and can get away with it, we're taking you out."

How is that statement, "we'd like to wipe you out", not justification for a nuke?

I need one of these Islamo-sympathizers to give me a good reason why Israel should sit around and wait for Ahmadinejad to be able to carry out his goal instead of leveling his country.

I can guarantee you that if I were President and the president of another country said "we'd like to pretty much wipe the U.S. off the map", that country would have about 48 hours remaining on this planet.

He can say that because if Israel do pre-emptively exercise their nuclear capabilities then it will probably sound their death knell as all European countries will likely completely boycott Israel and all arabs and muslims from all over the entire middle east will round on Israel and by virtue of numbers and spread alone, will destroy Israel. Let's face it - Israel's Hezbollah spat was no 'six-day' war. Damned if they do, damned if they don't - it appears that Israel is on borrowed time.

The way the extremist see it and this is not a small number, tens of thousands agree. Israel can either move to another continuant or be destroyed.

Yes, I have no doubt that the US will send soldiers. There is, however, I big difference between soldiers on the ground and throwing nukes: for one, China won't be too upset about soldiers on the ground.

No, that's exactly my point: No matter how much the US likes someone (in this case Israel), they will not risk firing nukes to defend anyone but themselves.
