Well, I respect you Spearhead. I have alot of friends who are liberals, but who see other sides to argments and hate left-facing-radicals almost as much as I do.

9-11 was just a big misunderstanding. The hijackers were really just pioneers of the new extreme passenger jet stunt flying sport and had an unfortunate error while trying to fly between the towers.

I have a serious question for all of you here which I've been struggling to understand.

How powerful of a bomb can you make with a "British sports drink" and a "gel-like substance" mixed aboard a plane. I mean, obviously the sports drink would clear security without a hitch, and I don't think it has too many explosive properties, but this so called "gel-like substance" HAS to have some kick to it in order to be able to cause some real damage to a plane. Given this fact, I feel rather uneasy thinking that airport security wouldn't be able to detect this substance as a possible bomb agent before finding out about this plot. Have we been focusing too much on the goddamn nailclippers and sharp objects that we have forgetten the real threat of BOMBS?

Did terrorists really find a way to make a completelly concealable bomb? Don't you think we would've known this method by now? Is this "gel" (I really wish they were more specific) really that concealable and inert, and somehow magically becomes deadly when mixed with other agents? Or better yet, what the hell are the brits putting into their sports drinks???

Something doesn't add up for me. I don't doubt that there are terrorists plots here and there, but I think this one is being exaggerated and is being used for political purposes.

On a side note, check out some really cool explosive mixes at http://www.dietcokementoschallenge.com/. Maybe this was what they heard terrorists talking about and decided to act on it. I've read that the "magic" ingredient in mentos (called Gum Arabic) which causes the soda to decarbonate is made by some people linked by Osama Bin Laden (Wikipedia it)... hmm, makes you wonder.

why the fuck would the US government want to destroy their own country... its just retarded how 911 is planned...
Wow, read the PNAC's layout for the continued dominance of American power.  And if anybody replies, make sure you use the spell check please..  When you misspell words, it just detracts from your obviously intelligent arguments....

That's just the hollywood leeches making a buck out of the whole thing.  I bet you a hundred to one they don't say a god damn thing about building 7 going down or Silverstein the owner saying "we had to "pull it", after so much loss of life the best thing was to "pull it"....

Obviously you haven't heard of Operation Bojinka. It almost worked - it DID work, actually, when a small, easily concealed bomb killed one person during a flight. Lucky the terrorist put his bomb in the wrong seat or the plane would have been obliterated by exploding fuel tanks.

is your real name michael moore?  j/k

They have been catching people for decades on various plots, some get through. Is it within the realm of possibility that the administration hatched this as a way to shape our future government?  lol
I wonder if you know that Michael Moore doesn't subscribe to conspiracy theories.

I'm not happy that you who think the gov't is involved in "tricking" the world are voters.

People who were caught, people who will be caught, people who want to kill anyone that is not like them, want to kill people whom you know and love.

If they were to kill a family member of yours, would you still think that it is the US and England's fault that your family member was killed by a extremist?  If you answer Yes, then you are either lying, or just a moron.

Those people want to kill us just because they follow a false GOD.  If you have any intelligence, you would realize that nobody should be killing others because they don't follow a certain way, but you would want to educate them in the truth.

What the hell do they do?  They blow up people however they can, so that they can enjoy a promise that nobody knows if its truth or not.   Looks to me as a selfish motivation and not a hardcore follower of any religion.

For those that need more help...

The global tourism industry is one of the largest industries in the world. In many developing nations tourism is the primary industry, sometimes accounting for up to 90% of jobs.

Looking at the recent events in a global perspective. If the new security measures continue then most duty free shops will end up closing. As a result the Airports will increase fees to the airlines and the customer. The airlines will pass the fees onto the customers, thus hitting them with a double price increase.

As well as those measures, rising fuel costs will mean increased fuel levy's for customers, again increasing the prices.

If these increases reach a certain point,  fewer people will choose to travel.

Once there are fewer people traveling, then the rest of the tourism industry will begin to suffer. Tour operators, street vendors and merchants, hotels and restaurants will feel the sting. In order to cut costs, they will be forced to either raise prices or lay off staff. They will lay off staff.

Now there will be a situation in some developing countries of massive unemployment. This will lead to higher social tension and devision between the rich and poor. Crime will increase as the countries economy grinds to a halt.

But lets hope it doesn't come to that...

Last time I checked...he actually WAS a US citizen.

Also who the hell doesn't do things for money? Dick Cheney does bad things for money, so does Bush. I agree that Moore is slightly more than a bit of a dipshit, but look around, man.
