Gulf of Oman (a popular map that will show up in searches) 32
Sharqi Peninsula 32
Dragon Valley 32 (it has airpower, but only choppers... which are balanced by the nasty AA)
Mashtuur City 32
Dalian Plant 32 (another popular PLA map, it seems more balanced than Wake for some reason)
Strike at Karkand 32 (it has to be done, unfortunately)
Kubra Dam 32
Wake Island 2007 32 (it shows as 64 on the loading, but it has 32 man tickets)
Operation Clean Sweep 32
Songhua Stalemate 32
Sharqi Peninsula 32

Well, Vince ... we maxed out the BF2s server last night with this rotation - I actually had to kick a couple of people for idling so that others could join. First time in a long time that the BF2s server has been maxed.

Observations:

(1) Jalalabad really increased participation. The server filled up fast and maintained maximum.
(2) Karkand & Sharqi kept things going ... mild increase or decrease
(3) Mashtuur decreased participation.

As much as I like Mashtuur, I'm wondering if this rotation would maximize participation on the 24/7 City maplist:

Jalabad 2X
Sharqi 2X
Jalabad 2X
Karkand 2X

Or, if Mashtuur is included ....

Jalabad 2X
Sharqi 2X
Jalabad 2X
Karkand 2X
Mashtuur 1X

Well, I joined it last night, with one flag left, the TV station. MEC chopper was teh rape.......no thanks.

p.s. It does not surprise me IO failed.........people want easy points.

Yea, that was a bad game TBH, but the rest went really well ... for some reason, the auto-balance was turned off and that is what set up the MEC raping of the TV station. I corrected the autobalance, but it was too late for the USMC because the MEC had already positioned themselves around the TV station.

Oh, and IO will work (but, when we tried it, it was on 64-player maps with 10 people total = fail).

OK, my preferred map rotation feel free to edit it to your liking.

Wake - 64 (good map to start off with, plenty of stuff to do while waiting for a game to start.)
Daqing - 64 (gotta' love them bombers, plus we won't lose any Aviators)
Sharqi - 64 (very nice city map with a little bit for everyone)
Dragon Valley - (chopper + jets = fun rounds)
Jalalabad - (actually a fun map if you don't play IO on it)
Sharqi - 64 (very nice city map with a little bit for everyone)
Karkand - 64 (only a few people will leave, but many will join, also, 64 player map means less hotel hogging, and a more spread out attack by USMC)
Dalian - 64 (the best single soloing map ever, also a nice air map)
Sharqi - 64 (very nice city map with a little bit for everyone)
Clean Sweep - 64 (fun map with some memorable air battles)

again, feel free to change, but please, please don't add Kubra, it is such a killer, I've actually seen the server be evacuated when it shows up.
