I was recently supporting a friend on BF2RS to get his stats re-instated. But soon after that the topic was closed and my other friend Sgt.Gene was banned from the site. This was indeed un just. Now it looks like there is a total war going on over there. Iam going to join the fight to reinstate stats. If you have been treated unfair by these jerks or just plain out dont like them. You can check out the war going on and submit your 2 cents.

P.S. on the last post he banned Sgt.Gene again for defending himself. Sad sad community they have there.

You know, by reading that first thread, those BFROE guys were actually being pretty respectful.  That looks nothing like total war as it's just a disagreement that happened between two sides.

What purpose does it serve to argue with people who cannot give players their stats back?  It just looks as though you're asking for trouble, especially since you now posted this here.

Kudos to them for keeping their cool while you and your comrades berated them for something they have no control over.  Your friend has a GUID ban from Punkbuster so obviously he did something wrong.  It's also on record that he played in Knife and Pistol Only servers repeatedly, which is a wipe-able offense.

It sounds as though Gene was joking about the British Common Law thing, but if he wasn't, then that's an idiotic statement.  I wouldn't have banned him for it, but they did.  Tough luck.

My advice to you is to get over it and stop playing for points.  Who cares anyway.  You will enjoy BF2 and the mods so much more when you finally realize that all the time you have wasted on gaining rank/points has been for nothing....

You have to look at this in a different perspective, First of all if you actually read the RoE its a joke. I know it, you know it, we all know it. Second Iam going to argue because we all payed for this damn game and who are these idiots to tell us how we can and cant play. Third, yes they did keep their cool, but if you read the first one there was a personal attack made on Dog9835 by an BF2RS admin. Fourth, Dog9835 does not have a GUID ban, he was put on the MBL list for having a program on his computer used for hacking CSS. Fifth the knife/pistol was done after the reset. Sixth, Gene did not make the statement about the british common law, although he did support it . Finally, Gene was banned for backing up his clan mate. This was an unjust act made by BF2RS.

Its not just for him, its for EVERYONE who has been wronged. Just because someone decide to play the game a different way than others does not justify EA's actions. I know many people reset for no reason at all, or for some stupid reason such as owning too hard. I know we are not alone. Many others feel as we do.

Yes but Sgt.Gene stat padding has nothing to do with this. He is not asking for his stats back. He was just simply supporting his friend who was erased. But while supporting Dog9835 Sgt.Gene was banned for no reason. That in my opinion was wrong.

I disagree with the ROE too, IMO it should be "No Hacking No Glitching" and thats it. But they're there and you'll have to deal with it.

You paid fort he game and you agreed to the EULA and TOS when you installed the game and made your account. I highly doubt you read it, who does? But the accounts are property of EA and they can do whatever the hell they want. BF2RS are the messengers and nothing more. They don't handle resets and kept their cool while you children spammed their forums with inane posts as "the customer is always right"... maybe it should read "the customer never reads the EULA". You got reset now deal with it. Instead of spending all this time whining you could be getting back your points.

But the community of BF2 is the heart of the game. If we bring attention to the community about these smacktards it will piss off the community, thus turning some of the community against EA & BF2RS, which would cause EA to terminate BF2RS or atleast make them tone down a bit.

This has been going on since September or so. EA didn't give a shit before, they won't now. They've got your cash, they've got the server owner's cash, and they know that people will follow them like sheep and get 2142 despite the bullshit treatment BF2 has gotten from EA and DICE.

i was a L1 admin right back at the start but they kicked me out for some BS reason (i think the one they gave me was that i posted on another EA forum that i didn't like snipers) so i called them a bunch of immature fuckers and i've hated them ever since

pretty petty reason to hate them really but its better than nothing

anyway they shouldn't be given any say in the matter of resetting stats, at all

Yes it has been going on for a long time. But in this time no one has taken any action. This is our chance to finally take action. No one has to agree with anything any of us say. But I know alot of people will agree. Which is why we have chosen to take action. Im not saying this is going to work, but its worth a shot.
