Nealy got run over by one on exercise when they come over to shoal water bay (Australia) we were on our way back from our vcp(vehicle check point) we were pulling back to get ready for the yanks main assault was like 20ks back and set all round defense in a creek bed about 15ks there to get some shut eye  about 1 hour later we see about 7 Amtrak's on the road 500m s/w of us so we all stood too (get in our positions) then they stop and turn toward us i was in the Dry creek bed covering it when all of a sudden  these Amtrak's cross the creek bed about 10meters  in front of me might i say it got the blood pumping about 3 of them crossed and turned north knocking over trees and stuff 1 fell just meters from me  the 4th one try ed to cross but it got stuck in the creek bed (pretty steep creek bed it was) and they all jump out to try and get it unstuck after they jump out the seco (section commander -like a squad leader) fires a para flare at the Amtrak to simulate a a/t rocket  just as he fired the Yank Sargent yelled gad dame it she's leaking gas, lucky it did not go up as he fired we all arked up and pulled back under fire and movement  and called all our arty to that position got back to the hill were the rest of our force was  ready for the main battle in the morning


they reckon we lost the fight but if it were real 1/3 of there assault force was knocked out b4 they even got there

I was extremely disappointed at the release of BF2, to find that there were no hovercraft as planned. This annoyed me, as it would have evened up the sides when the US has to assault the land, such as at wake.

tvs cant reach 450m

i agree there is no need for another armoured vehicle, just spawn some at the carrier, the USMC could use them on maps like Oman and Wake, where they need a first wave of armour

who would know better, the guy with 157 hours in the helicopter, or the guy with 47 hours, thrust me they can reach 450 m tops

for me the max range is 439m
