I believe the SF players are the first group that has truly formed a microcosm of BF2 players. Euro completely dropped off and AF is already fading fast but SF has leveled out in a small but loyal group of players. This is before any good mod can take hold so technically we are the first.

I notice this because I can go different servers and see the same people. And that is fun because you know what to expect.

So be proud of yourselves SF specialists and talk like familiar friends because we will be seeing alot of eachother. Especially the good ones....we just wont be seeing eachother on OBC (you all know why) but there are plenty of GOOD servers out there. See ya soon.

I just bought SF not to long ago and I really like it alot, it has totally refreshed bf2 for me, I mean AF was cool but if I have to play those same 3 maps one more time, its all over for me, lol..

I never have lag problems on SF... only on Mastuur for some reason.

Yeah, teamwork is a must have for SF, no teamwork. No double points for win, no.... you get the point.

Plus there isnt [i]as much[/] point whoring in SF.

SF is very cool. But I hate the fact that these expansion and booster packs splitt the community and your gaming experience. It would be so much fun if u could play strike/sharqi/warlord/ghost town/great wall and other good maps in a row.

I'm about 98% SF for a while now, but still play vanilla BF2 sometimes when I'm bored and none of my friends are playing.

Kmal is right....far less jackassery in SF.

i gto SF not too long ago and i like it sooo much more than Vanilla
and i agree you butler (if that is you) about how its a small communtity as i see many players on different servers all the time
but yeah i was commander on some server a week or two ago and played with "butler" commanding for a few rounds... good times....butler was asking for things over voip and didnt sound like some 12 year old kid that got daddy to buy a good account for him

Someone needs to start a website for the dedicated SF players. I wish I knew where some of you people play, I'd like nothing more then to infiltrate a building by grapple hook, sneak up on a n00b sniper for claying his 6, and knife him. I then proceed to grapple hook to the target flag, taking it quickly with my squad and then do more stealthy stuff. When we RTB we can all get high on tear-gas!

I don't know if it's just me or if other people find the same thing, but I think the guns in SF are easier to use (compared to using the same gun in Vannilla BF).

And agree the teamwork is better in SF's, a sqaud with grapple, zip, tear gas, and medics always do well.

Just wish the lag could be reduced on some of the maps.

the same happens with any gametype or whatever. I often play infantry Only, and see alot of the same people playing along side me. Same goes w/ P/K and, apparently, SF. Not a big whoop.

agreed and may be seen as the software is packaged and sold at a discount. Unfortunately what can be considered the third mod is due for release in five months.

Get your SF play time in while you can.

And look for my new 64 player ranked SF server in two days....A truly International server out of NY with a West Coast and UK ping at around 80 many different players can fight in a more even playing field 24/7.

No Rules of course. PURE. The way it should be played. No censorship. VOIP. FF on (no gaymores), Day and Night Maps. In fact...night maps every other map so it goes day/night/day/night etc. Different map sizes of the same map..20 sec wait to set up teams with friends.....large clans are encouraged....creative mix of maps.

No fear of getting banned for bullshit. In fact I don't believe you can do anything to get banned permanently....its childish. I will wipe after a week if they even happen. I won't listen to complaints....just play the game.
