tank jumping

Hi,
I was playing on Karkand the other day when I saw the following incident:

The MEC did a great job in defeating the USMC armor with a lot of AT and wise usage of the MEC vehicles. But than an USMC tank near the hotel just jumped in the air and dodged some missiles this way. It was really a jump, the tank was almost standing still when it moved about 4 to 5 meters vertical and came back to the ground.
As I was playing engineer I could clearly see that it had no damage at all.

Is this some common behaviour? A new Bug/Glitch/Cheat? Or am I the only person who ever noticed such an incident?

It's a glitch. Tanks pop into the air suddenly. Even happened to me once in OPK.

yeah its a bug. i once jupmed with a tank from hotel to square. really weird that was.

Yeah it's just a glitch, funny as hell when it happens though. Once I saw one fly further than normal, about 75 feet into the air.

Sometimes when you roll up to the city entrance right next to those pipes in just the right way, the tank will hop up 5-15 feet. It's quite weird and even worse it makes it REALLY hard to shoot at something if you're the one in the tank. I've never seen anyone do it - It's just happened to me while I've been in it. It must look funny.
