Musical Instruments = Good Stats?

Does playing a musical instrument (other than the Female or Male Organ ) help you in the game? I was wondering because in playing music there is a lot of doing something with your hands (playing) while looking at something else (the music), same with BF2.

So, the question is:

1) If you are good at this game, do you also play an instrument?

2) If you are having trouble with the game, do you NOT play an instrument?

I think manual dexterity is an aptitude utilized by many human activities. You either have it or you don't. Using it to play musical instruments would be coincidental should a person also be skilled at video games.

Edit: An FPS also has a lot to do with reflexes and eye-hand coordination. Musical instruments use neither.

G3157 - I agree, but one of the things I find frustrating is trying to hit the <any> key and hitting the <other> key.

Mahhadda - Based on your K/D and W/L, yes, I'd say you are a good player.

Drums have alot to do with coordination, but after awhile it's really easy.

i used to play a guitar but i think i just got used to the keys not from playing guitar...i wasnt good at playing guitar and im not that good at BF2 eather so cant really go by me

I think it doesnt mather if you are good at an instrument, It deosnt help you to play games. My brother is a programmer and can write insanly fast with the keyboard but he isnt musical at all.

I am playing Guitar, Bouzouki and trying to learn how to play piano/synth. And I´m just an avarege BF2-player. But sometimes I have been thinking about it when I´m playing BF2, that I am pressing all over the keyboard & thought: hmm... has this something to do with playing instruments...........?

Exactly! That's where I'm coming from! I don't play anything well and I'm constantly having to take my eyes off the screen and look at the keyboard (well, CyberSnypa actually).
