L96A1 for SAS

I think that since the L96A1 is a British-made sniper, shouldn't it be the SAS's sniper in SF also. Does anyone agree with me, or is it just another one of my fantasies?

definitely agree, but i think SF should have a third tier of unlocks in general... it pisses me off that the L96 came with the patch the was released to make SF work, but that we can't use it in SF, as I think its the best sniper rifle given its crosshair and low noise

That was my first complaint when the sniper unlock was released. I hardly played sniper until I got the L96A1. Then to find out the the makers of the rifle are not allowed to use it. How gay is that?

I agree, they should also replace the Abrams tanks in the SAS missions with Challengers. The only problem is that this and the L96-change would be extreme crossovers between SF and EF, so I don't think that DICE will ever do this. They probably think like
"Hey, giving the Challenger to the SAS in SF would be more logical, but we can't do this, EA wants the Challenger-fans to buy the Euro-Booster."

I totally agree with you guys, So many times on ghosttown i was Spetzs and i had a fucking M95, wishing i had a L96. But the one thing i don't like bout the L96 is when, like only in specific spots, I look down to snipe or look at a specific area, i get goddam lag. Like on karkand, fromn the building on the square down to the market, i get some badass lag. I don't know why this is but i do only have a 5500 , but 1gig of ram. So i dono.

the f2000 is belgian made, by fn, but FN belongs to remington or another US arms maker.....
or it belongs to FN, i dunno.....

so it would be possible for US to have f2000 altough i havent ever seen us with it....

yes, i absolutely agree. i think that if you have the unlock, you should be able to get the Special Forces unlock no matter what team you're on. it doesnt make sense when you're Russian, in SPECIAL FORCES, and you cant get the SPECIAL FORCES, when the British team can.
