This is my first ever sig.
Just wanted to see what kind of feedback I could get with thi sig I made in like, 45 minutes. This was all done on GIMP, seeing as I don't want to pirate Photoshop and I'm too poor atm to afford it.

It's really, really simple (although simple was what I was aiming for). Most of the time spent was trying to figure out what buttons did what. Don't know how to use layers or anything, I'm thinking about trying out more advanced stuff later. The explosion looking things are meant to contradict that ice stripe down the middle. (Default GIMP textures and stuff)

What people consider art is highly subjective IMO; one might see modern art as nothing compared to the old "masters" ("Pffft, it's only a bit of wire twirled into random shapes") while another might see the expression behind it. I'd consider many of the sigs here to be art; might not be masterpieces and the Mona Lisa, but art nonetheless.

At any rate, my first attempt at getting my sig rated seemed to fail, so here's another one.

@FFLink13 - 9/10, the colors seem to work well, the green distortion effect things looks pretty awesome.
@Flaming_Maniac - 9/10 also, I like simplicity in general, this one is sleek. Although the reflection on the "g" looks slightly strange because of the extension on the "g."

this has been debated before, and im not going to go into it again here.

6/10. the text doesn't really work imo and other than that its a lot of empty/boring space. i do like how the diagonal takes your eye right to the text though.

Nice sig and simply explained. Although the soldiers images needs a bit of contrast, they look a bit pale compared to the background, still a good sig.
