I have an 100/10mbit fiber connection.
Half megabit. I have the wall socket for the BB 100 Mbit connection if I want more (and feel it's worth the money, which I don't at the moment. Then there's the hassle of changing email adress as well.).
How much do u pay for 512kbit??
250 Sek (€25?) I think. I know it's not much less than the 350 Sek for the 100 Mbit, still I want the need for that to arise before I jump on it. I don't even use my half megabit much. The patches are the largest files I download, other than that it's just surfing.
4200 kbits up and 660 down and it costs me 30 euro's per month.
5/5Mbps... costs 49€/mont
What a ripoff,i pay 34euro/month
Okay but the first part of the connection is either phoneline or cable tv right. Over here for adsl you need a phoneline which will cost you about 20 euro's every month just for the connection. After that comes the adsl costs and i just have a mobile so i dont have a phone in my house. So i got a broadband cable connection and its probably not a bad deal, cable tv with about 40 channels and a 4 mbit connection for 50 euro's/month and they also got a good helpdesk with small waiting times, which is quite important too if you ask me.

Does T-Online still have a monopoly over there? I remember when when my family and I were stationed over there in Darmstadt (and Wurzburg when I was just a toddler apparently) and the only internet service they offered was that T-Online. Advertised 768Kb down ADSL...*pfft* what a lie. Man I sure do miss walkin to McDonalds or takin the Strassenbahn downtown and hangin out with friends there. We left soon after the Euro came out over there though. Man I remember none of the stores put the mark prices in proportion to the value of the euro...used to pay like 2 marks for a burger; then the next thing I knew I was paying 2 Euros for a burger. Sure they fixed that by now...lol. Was a total rip.bmb|danCer wrote:
