I checked the last few pages and didn't see this on here so I figured Id go ahead and post.
So I jump on Amazon.com tonight and just out of curiosity I find this:

Says BF2142 will be released on October 10th 2006(which will most likely get pushed back. But who knows). With a free 64 meg dog tag flash drive with some bonus content stuff and logitech coupons. looks like they are adding a few more things to get people to buy stuff. Kinda reminds me of the patch work they do. "look free new stuff...but don't mind the bugs we have yet to fix"

hey any idea of the Specs for BF 2142 ? I heard they're using bloom so it will probably mean a better graphics card but other from that i have no idea of the Specs of the Game

i leave the msg to see if any one knows will the game be muti-threaded (make use of more then 1 cpu aka dual core)

as its been built on top of the core of bf2 i realy hope thay have upgraded that part as well

Well i read and watch a couple of interviews about BF2142 and yeah they said they wanna try and keep it the same specs as BF2 but they have upgraded parts of the games as i've said they're using Bloom lighting now so that will mean the game will be using the graphics card more other from that i've heard nothing but one of the devolpers said that they hope that BF games will have upgraded their min spec pc or something like that

you "recieve" someones dogtags when you knife them. those dogtags then go into your stats, like an award. Say i knife noob1, later that day i can go into my stats, and look under "dogtags" and noob1's dogtag will be sitting right there

I miss Futurama Still need to get the fourth DVD collection.

As for everyone wanting a mech, I don't know if I would want to be in the one thing that is going to draw the attention of everything on the battlefield. They're going to be easy to be seen if they're as big as they look. The gunship pilots are going to be the mech's biggest enemies, and if the secondary missile is anything like the TV missile on the choppers, I doubt you'll see the gunships coming in close enough to be painted by the mech's AA
