100FPS, but i think it's limited becuase it sits at a constant 100 when i play, it never drops even when i blow lotsa stuff up with C4 etc. But it does drop to around 35FPS when i record with Fraps.(Bad system for multimedia recording/editing, need a dual core)

I run BF2 on High settings with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 and 16x SLI AA

Well we have a liar here, BF2 limits the frame rate to 100, even if your running it with a high end system on low settings.

Thought so...

Why is my frame rate so low.  It is usually around 35.  I have a 6600 and 2gig of RAM.  I shut down all un nessacary applications, I have even tweaked pb to sleep for 500 seconds istead of 20 sec.  What gives?  Can anyone help me out.

you can change the FPS limit. Bring down the console, and type in game.lockfps 200, and your limit will now be 200 FPS.

how do u check?

at full detail levels, max res I get 100 Fraps never seems to drop below that, don't take much of a hit recording either......which is nice

i get 60-100 on my
X800 Prorig
with 1 gig ram and a p4 540

i get 90-unknown max
on my x1900XTX rig w/ 2 gigs of ram and  X2 4800

depends on map & server size but mine average at..
bf2
32player 80-100
64player 60-80

32player 60-80 other than warlord,once i go near the palace it drops about 20fps.
64player (never played)

my gfx settings 1024x768 85hz all medium except txt filtering to low,& view 100%.

bfg 6600gt oc 128 agp

used to get an extra 10fps or more to this though before 1.2 so cant see how they reacon they've found a performance gain in static mesh rendering...**cough,bullshiters** lol.
