Nobody, as far as I know...hence the use of the phrase "not the only player ever to" repeatedly. Historical precedent for what he's doing and for people not to lose their damn minds over it. I really don't care what Tebow does. It's not hurting anyone. If he wants to use bible verses and open Christianity as his shtick, more power to him. Is he violating league rules? Didn't think so.

the top leagues make the most (TV rev, merchandise) its gets less as you go further down. Also bottom 3 in a league table get demoted to the lower league, top 3 in the champion, league 2 & 3 get promoted to the league above. It means you have to fight for you place. Also nearly every town and city have a footy team all in varying leagues and we're a nation of 60m.
Then to make it really interesting the winners of the top league in every european country get together every season and duke it for the european champions league.
