http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pepper_spray#EffectsThe effects of pepper spray are far more severe, including temporary blindness which lasts from 15–30 minutes, a burning sensation of the skin which lasts from 45 to 60 minutes, upper body spasms which force a person to bend forward and uncontrollable coughing making it difficult to breathe or speak for between 3 to 15 minutes.

For those with asthma, taking other drugs, or subject to restraining techniques which restrict the breathing passages, there is a risk of death.
I think that the fact he was restrained and/or drunk was a contributing factor in his death, but this by no means makes the officers actions simply negligence. They should have a better understanding of the weapons they use.
Its interesting how weapons intended as a last resort to protect lives become tools of oppression pretty quickly.

I agree there should be procedures in place to prevent white americans being tortured to death.
Also, I guess you mean 'torturing someone to death is a crime'.
Give me a fucking break. I had a two-year-old jumping all over me as I was typing that before. I'll go back and edit it, ffs.
It was crystalfuckingclear what was meant.

Don't worry, FEOS will have some convoluted explanation for why he's right and you're wrong, involving fighter jets, shadowy geo-political intel companies and the evils of socialised healthcare.

Thanks. I suppose you've seen the word "tumbuddy" used in place of "somebody" quite often, then? Get a grip.Uzique wrote:

Means a lot coming from someone who incessantly uses a term that fell out of favor decades ago...

Yeah, because right now we are sooo much closer to a free libertarian democratic contry(media law, embedding a certain taxing type into the constitution, redrawing voting region bounds in favor of the ruling party , appointing puppets as judges loyal to the party, complete secularization of PRIVATE pensions, appointing a puppet as head of the Central bank etc...)venom6 wrote:

It went out of vogue for a reason. I couldn't care less about Ricky Gervais' opinion. His schtick is to be an utter twat. To be as irredeemably offensive to as wide a swath of humanity as possible. So...good show, emulating that.Uzique wrote:
