Why do guns in that game sound like shit?

COD has far bigger issues than sound design

The amount of absurdly bad design choices can only be explained by laziness or incompetence..

I don't know, something about carrying a throwing knife as a just in case kind of weapon in a shooting game is just cool as shit to me for some reason, even if it can pretty much just fall on you like that and give you a one hit kill
