Never gonna happen. I'm 43 and still PC gaming. Some gaps when the kids were only a few years old. But once they are old enough to get there own food, I'm back to PC gaming.jord wrote:
Not for 10 years at least. Not because of wanting to live my own life or wanting to build up a sizeable amount of savings for them but PC gaming is gonna take about 10 years to get out of the current cycle.
You've just got to get a job that allows you to do some of it from home. I've used the kid card plenty of times. VPN + Remote Desktop = work from home.11 Bravo wrote:
no. but maybe since it seems if you have kids you can miss work a lot because them. but that seems like an expensive way to get time off.

Because you can want to spend the rest of your life with someone without having children...War Man wrote:

So now we're getting into the whole argument of the point of marriage itself, I don't really know, but there must be a reason why it's a universal trait amongst nearly all cultures across the worldShahter wrote:

well, first, it's not so universal. and second, when it comes to sexual relationships, humans are wild beasts - very few are able to behave rationally when reproductive instincts get fired up. so, competition and its consequences, plus sexually transmitted deseases - these are primary reasons for stuff like formal marriage and monogamia in general in many cultures. it's an attempt to impose reason and order on all that shit. now, does any of that have anything to do with why i'd want to spend the rest of my life with my new wife? - absolutely not.Mekstizzle wrote:
