Yeah, installed the HD pack last night. Nice details, especially the trees, rocks, and distant objects. But like watching HD TV for the first time, you more easily notice the dirt on everyone.
My GTX 260 only has 896MB and I'm running x86 so between that, the textures on the beginning level dragons don't load so they're just blue and the game suddenly shuts off every 5 minutes
You did read the minimum specs for the HD texture pack?_j5689_ wrote:

Yeah, I posted them, lol. I wanted to try it anyway just to see what would happen, I don't really play this anymore anyway but I'm still interested in the updates.Ilocano wrote:

If they patched the game to not have so much fucking instant gratification, I might be more inclined to play it all the way through but there's way too much involved in that.
Awesome...
These are all "experiments": They can be placed in a Mod or future DLC or not placed at all.

I really like the idea of the seasonal foliage, underwater visuals, and ambient occlusion(which kind of should've been in the game anyway but nVidia graphics cards can do it all the same) in the graphics department. In that respect, I especially like the flow-based water a LOT, the way it is right now makes no sense at all where water moves horizontally on North/South streams and makes it hard to take the game seriously in the graphics department
Kinect-enabled shouts should really be put in, if you can take advantage of it and they've already done it, then why not polish it up and put it in the next 360 patch? It's really cool that the Kinect can supplement regular games like this and not have to be the center-point of the game.
Lycanthropy and maybe vampiric skill trees are a must, not sure I like the idea of the flying with minions that much though, just changes the game too much and seems ridiculous
I like the giant mudcrab idea as well but I'm not sure where it fits in outside of maybe going into a DLC of some sort and being some kind of unique enemy.

Really? They could have done all that before release? Fuck off... I like Skyrim a lot but those are some things I would really love. Especially riding a dragon.(Dragonmount)
Bethesda has got to take in mind the limitations in console vs PC. You know the console and it's "super powers"Naturn wrote:

If it's not that it's Mula ($$$) I'm betting these to be mostly on paid DLCs.
Some of these features are just too grand and awesome to be only Mods.
Which leaves me to wonder...why didn't he just spam fireball before the fight even started?Spearhead wrote:

Also, the horses would be much cooler if I didn't already know you can't FIGHT FROM HORSEBACK.
