Apparently.

EDIT: So if you're really taking the diet seriously, stick with Perrier or something.

What? That's just how it compares the values, I'm not actually suggesting drinking a vodka coke with a beer thrown in for good measure.

I washed my car today, which worked the ever-useful scrubbing muscle groups. I then thought about going for a run, but it was too hot and it would further fuck up my shoe tanlines. This evening I got to exercise my corn-husking muscles. Hell yeah, bros, I'm a beast. Really need to start waking up early and running though, since I'm losing my ab definition and whatnot.

I believe he means you end up with no chest or shoulder muscle, its the process of developing only trophy muscles that requires you to be retarded.

You started this at the perfect time Zim. I just signed up for the gym today.

Started off with a mile on the treadmill, then did some arms... tomorrow if I get back from CT in time I'll work on my legs.

You should be doing at least 2 muscle groups a day. As you've just started off, you should be doing 3 a day and doing 1 or 2 exercises per muscle group. None of this "arms" and "chest" days, it wont work.

No wonder my brother won't get any bigger. Although he loves to think he knows more than a personal trainer.

I hate to ask, but would you be able to work out a schedule for me? I want to try to go atleast 4-5 times a week.

You're just starting off, "trying to go" isn't the objective here... it's building up and getting big. You should never go 4-5 times a week. Unless 2 of those times are for cardio only.

You should only be doing 3 workouts a week, and none back-to-back - Until you're advanced (6+ months) to do a back to back exercise and increase to 4 times a week. Even the best guys don't go 4-5 times a week. It tires out your muscles and doesn't give them time to rest and grow.

I will work one out for you when I'm not exhausted.

Just to bump this, I've finally started working out again. I'm not going to join up at the gym until I get back to uni I think, or at least get regular income; I can't afford it right now. Currently drinking 3 to 4L water a day, and eating 4 eggs for breakfast. I've also cut out all sugar, beer, and other junky foods. At the moment I'm just doing pushups and situps, when I wake up and when I go to bed. My problem with working out at home is that I tend to overdo it the first day, meaning that I can't do anything the second so it becomes hard to get into a routine. So I'm starting out slow, 3 sets of 10 knuckle pushups (I'm told they're better for your wrists) and 50 situps - once in the morning and once at night. Once I stop feeling that I'll up the reps.

You shouldn't be working out every day anyway. Leave a day of rest in-between sessions. You should try the 100 push-up challenge if you like push-ups.

I got to week 5 and quit due to a shoulder injury. I'm gonna start again maybe on week 3 when I get back from the holidays and my shoulder is 100%.

if you have barbells or pushup handles, you could use those.  larger range of motion and doesn't hurt your wrists at all.

and inb4 zimmer's reverse crunches because situps suck

It's not that situps suck, they are BAD for you.

And I was going to suggest crunches, not reverse ones.

Don't ever do situps, do crunches. And if that is what you meant by situps, then please call them crunches. Gets me all confuzzled.
