This year it seems it's only a four city tour....but the line-up should make any old-school hip hop fan feeling like a five year-old on Christmas morning:

Renowned Staten Island, N.Y. hip hop collective Wu-Tang Clan is the big headliner this year and will perform its 1993 landmark debut "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)" in its entirety.

Multiple Grammy award-winner Lauryn Hill is slated to appear as a "special guest," though her role in the festival is not entirely specified.

Other noted performers are "Golden Era" hip hop legends Rakim and KRS-One who will perform music from their seminal works, "Paid In Full" and "Criminal Minded," respectively.

The four-city trek will kick off Aug. 21 in San Bernardino, Calif., making its way through San Francisco (Aug. 22), New York (Aug. 28), and closing in Washington, D.C. (Aug. 29).

The NYC show is August 28th, I'm definitely trying to be there. Tickets are $99.

I was so pissed when I first read this. I would have been willing to take a trip to Seattle or Vancouver to see Wu perform 36 Chambers in it's entirety (wet dream) but California is too far in these times
