Anyone else get in or getting in on the Beta for this thing?  I just got my invite to the closed 3rd beta tonight, lasts through Tuesday March 13th.

I will give my impressions once it is finished loading and I play a little bit of it.

oh shit, look, a retard.

I'm sure you've never played both versions of an early Need For Speed title, but if you had you would know that they were completely different games. Personally I own both PC and PS2 Hot Pursuit 2 because other than both having cops, they couldn't be more different.

NFS died after NFS3, resurrected for Hot Pursuit 2, then died again at Underground.

NFS3 was the first one to have Australian cars

Didnt they bring the HSV into it? I swear I can remember playing as a police HSV at one stage during the game.
That was bloody awesome.

i thought most wanted was good, but hated that i couldnt go into a free mode. sometimes i just didnt want to deal with cops and just go as fast as possible/run into everything. other times i would love being able to choose what level/type of cops i chose. got rid of nfsmw, kept nfsu2 tbh

NFS 3: Hot pursuit was the absolute best. There were a few other good ones. Minus Shift of course that shit sucked.

EDIT: Check it guys: An NFS Wiki

As I was on call this weekend and did not get a large amount of time to play the beta, I can not truthfully make any comments on it, other than the pursuit system is included in the game, and the map is large and has the break points used in hot pursuit and most wanted. In fact I think it is almost the same map world as most wanted.

Played some multi last night and some pursuits today.  Good combo of Most Wanted pursuit features and Undercover free roam.  Cars are meh, but it's a beta and I'm only lvl 7 so far.
