I saw him twice; first time was a really fun experience, a whole fuckton of production value, everyone was having a great time. That was 5 years ago. Then saw him 2 or 3 years ago and it was abysmal. Not much wrong with Tiesto's show really, but everyone around was in completely the wrong mindset. People have stopped going to raves for the music and atmosphere and instead have gone just to get high as fuck.
It's awkward running into old high school friends lying on the ground with their eyes rolled into their head and I say, "But I thought you didn't like this kind of music?" And they say, "I don't! But I'm high as fuck right now omfgthisisawesome alsdfhav;jnas;luns!!!!"
