I'll be there soon enough, I did find a grey hair about 10 years ago, ripped that out which seemed to scare the rest.

I think it's a control thing. Knowing you can control the emotions and reactions of other people gives you some sort of power. There are plenty of better ways to have fun, but only so many ways and opportunities to control other people, and forums provide the chance at hundreds of people at once.

People throw troll around too much. If everyone says they are trolling - they aren't a troll. They're just an inflammatory asshole. There has to be some level of actually tricking some percentage of the forum into giving the desired "reasonable" answer. ISortGlass is a troll. Few others are.

"Permatrolls" don't exist either. If they're posting 5+ times a day, they don't have the mental capacity to keep up the charade of a character significantly different from their own for any length of time. Example, Uzique claims to have been trolling for some period of time, but the current persona is practically identical to the old one. As much as he might have wanted there to be a shift, there wasn't one.

Permatrolls just like to try to pull a Spawnofthemist, claim they have been trolling the whole time because that is the only viable excuse for their extreme stupidity.
