I prefer Pendulum over "real" DnB, tbh.

DnB just sounds like trying to mash a ton of sounds together, followed by cranking the BPM up.

clearly you don't listen to the proper drum and bass

liquid dnb is amazingly soulful, groovy and funky, baby

technically hip-hop is mashing sounds together... if you wanna talk about turntablism and sampling

proper drum and bass is produced, not made on a sampler like pendulum's early crap

im telling you to listen to actual drum and bass, as in... the stuff everyone, by MASS CONCENSUS, considers to be dnb.

liquid dnb is not an underground scene. it's a huge fucking scene. much bigger than pendulum's rockish offshoot.

don't be a silly little boy now, i was trying to sincerely recommend a different style of dnb that would appeal to you, for it is not 'a mashing of sounds'.

some of you guys are way too eager to get on my dick. it almost makes me horny.

For a start, listen to anything by High Contrast and Logistics. They are the more well known DnB artists.
My personal favorite is B-Complex. He makes some beautiful stuff, like Beautiful Lies and Girl with a Flower.

Also, subscribe to the Liquicity channel on youtube.

I fucking love that song.

+ Yeah liquid dnb is probably my favourite 'sub-section' of actual dnb.

Uzi is right lol. Liquid dnb is the sub genre pretty much everyone likes. It's easy to listen to. Still Grey is probably the best song Pendulum did, with Girl in the Fire a close second. Listening to the new album now. None of the tracks are anything new, and none of them are actually any better than average.

Jestar you seem to have similar tastes to me. Logistics is by far my favourite Drum and Bass producer. B-Complex does make some amazing stuff, Three Dots is one of the best songs I've heard so far this year. Also massive at the moment is Netsky, who has done some pretty fucking good tunes, but his album I found a bit disappointing.

you're such a fucking cunt dumbass

listen to the recommendations the others gave - you'll like it, guaranteed

funny thing is that if i named them, you'd find something to fault in them, just because i named them

get some humility and admit when you don't know a fucking thing about a certain genre

Album's totally meh from what I've listened to so far... Really hoped they'd go back to their roots and produce something along the lines of Hold your Colour but it's nowhere close. Pendulum itself is another genre altogether now; I'll be sticking to the likes of Netsky, Bcomplex, etc.

That post was pointed entirely at your "dick riding" comment, since you don't seem to know what "being on someone's dick" means.

..and I never said I knew anything about DnB.

Stop being such a hypocritical little 'poof'.

Giving the album a listen, maybe I'm just getting bored of their style now and alot of the tracks in it are rather samey.

I like "The Island part II" though, mainly cos it seems much different from the rest of the album

Listened to the previews though and it curbed my enthusiasm a bit, but I'm sure I'll learn to love it when I listen in full Already can't wait for 'The Island' and Comprachicos

He is because he was the reason for that.

Album is alright, nothing new or particularly interesting though. Listenable but too many styles on the album. Wish they would just pick one and stick with it.
