i think my friend and i are gonna go for a few days for my bday which is in a couple weeks
I was planning on going Manchester casinos in March but I'm low on cashflow. 70 quid a night accommodation? No thank you, sir.
Have they gone away from "members only" drinking establishments in UT? Didn't have liquor by the drink when I was there in 95-98.ATG wrote:

Yes, but they are super anal about making sure a cocktail has exactly a certain amount of booze.
I had time to kill yesterday and went to a bar and asked for a caddilac margerita. She didn't know what I was talking about and had to whip out a bar book.
The weak beer is a drag, but you can get the real deal in the state run liquor stores.

Does Wasatch Front Brewery still put out good beer? That was about all I could stomach locally when I was there. Of course, I was coming from another 3.2% state (OK), so the "weak beer" thing wasn't that big of a deal to me. We DID have liquor by the drink, though.ATG wrote:

Yes they do, I had some last year when we drove in for turkey day.
The flavors are just fine, but I am used to 5.6% Sierra Nevada, which not only is the best tasting pale ale ( when it is fresh, there is no comparrison. I have tried literally a hundred different ales ) but has a fast buzz effect like taking a shot.
McCools, where we met is an anomoly: I ordered a beer and they served me before the food order was in.

Home sweet home.
It was a very productive business trip. I expect to make a splash in SLC in about one month with a new business that may actually thrive in this suck ass economy. Responses were 100% positive and my idea must be a good one because I have two companies that are eager to be partners with me, even though what I want is to just have them be customers.
Not sure if I am moving there or hiring someone to help me, but it looks very optimistic and the wheels are turning.
I was going to say, Cointreau and Grand Marnier are basically the same thing, why have half a shot of each in there?Kimmmmmmmmmmmm wrote:

as for 'cheep imitation Irish bar', you sir are correct. seeing as how we met in the state of Utah, western United States, we did have to "settle". our next roadie really should be to Ireland . . .
You were thinking mental, no doubt.JahManRed wrote:
