So, the Fort Hood killer was sending 5/6ths of his money to overseas islamic " charities " and chatting with a well known terrorist. Is that not what the patriot act was about?

So, the Army corps of engineers has been called grossly negligent by a judge because apparently a flood channel was clogged with garbage, even though they knew a hurricane was coming. Payouts have started and will be in the billions. Katrina should not have been the debacle it was.

So, the bailouts have revealed themselves to be nothing more than a giant slush fund. Generations of public debt for what? So the rotten crooked fuckers who wrecked the economy remain whole.

So, universal health care means buy a policy or go to jail, and part of your premiums will fund the murder of children by crack whores who use abortion as birth control.

There is a reality; our two party system is a fraud, a growing tyranny. There is a solution.

Stop paying taxes. Revolt financially. Let it crash on our terms, not theirs.

Oh, I almost forgot the border.

I get my taxes back, I intentionally make as little money a year as possible to ensure that I don't have to take out too many loans for school, the poorer I look, the more I save.

It's a dumb system really, rewards laziness.

So, what Island shall we move to and declare a sovereign nation? I'm sick of all the stupid in this country.

the one part of the system that still works - the IRS is near autonomous, and from what i can tell, once you've crossed them you are guilty until proven innocent; i.e., your assets can be seized first and relinquished later.

Idiotic statements like "stop paying taxes" is what keeps anyone from taking you (and everyone saying the same things) seriously. Making a laundry list of "problems" that all have a series of biased statement with no source, calling our government "tyrannical", and a complete disconnect from the political system renders your ethos perfectly absent.

Get some fucking perspective, or at the very least some fucking semblance to anything but a mob mentality.

I just got a tax lien for 23k.

It is legit: there was a hole in my balance sheet that happened when the economy collapsed. The mistake I made was having an honest balance sheet. That is one mistake I will not make again.

The IRS only takes things when you ignore them. I will be making a monthly payment of $250 until it is clear and as long as I stay in communication there will be no penalties or interest. But going forward?

I work mostly for cash.

Yea, in a perfect world. But if you think this will ever actually happen then you are not living in reality. So lets come up with solutions instead of wistfully imagining what should be.

I gotta agree with Canin. If you're not ready to have a kid, then use a condom and make sure your partner has birth control. Take full precautions. If you can't even be responsible about having sex, I sure as hell don't trust you with raising a kid.

However there ought to be funding for people to get birth control pills, IUDs or hormonal control injections so that at least they'll be safe while having sex (safe from pregnancies at least). Abstinence-only is a good idea in concept but not in practice. Teens are going to have sex so they might as well be able to use all forms of birth control available.

Every local Planned Parenthood gives out free condoms already. So do many high school health offices. Kids are dumb and have sex without protection anyway no matter how much you preach safe sex to them. Birth control pills are like $25 a month too. It's not like the cost of either is going to break the bank, especially when the alternative is an expensive ass kid. Diapers alone will cost you $25+ a week, let alone per month.

Walk into any planned parenthood office, and you can pretty much get any birth control you need. There is plenty of funding for it, apparently they even teach 5th graders how to have sex now..... I don't recall sex ed ever teaching about abstinence though.

Not take care of everything, but when it comes to certain things like health care I sure as hell would trust the government more than a for-profit business.

I agree it's a good idea and I one that I follow. Unfortunately us rational folk are greatly outnumbered by idiotic wastes of life who will only serve to produce more idiotic wastes of life.

Its funny, per laws in some states, a girl has to get parental consent to get the pill and per law, same girl can have an abortion without parental consent.

Actually, you can't get arrested for not paying your taxes. Evading, concealing and lying about income is a different matter.

By not paying taxes your life becomes a hell of a sort, true. Owning property is an issue.

However, if it is a movement, it can force non-violent change.

How do I not pay taxes though? Last time I had a job, they automatically took money out of your paycheck. When tax season came around I filed my returns and got all that money back (since I didn't make much so I was within that bracket where you don't get taxed).

And what's the difference between evading and not paying?
