Tbh I've got pretty beefy legs already, from a youth of being parentally forced into long distance running.

100% correct.

You need to build everything gradually, can't just concentrate on upper body because you "already have beefy legs". As you're not used to working out your body requires core workouts to get into the routine before you can start doing specific muscle exercises.

Pff, too much bother. I've already noticed an improvement on general muscle definition in chest/biceps and haven't even been working that hard. I don't want my legs to get any bigger.

I'm still around 144 pounds. I went on a date with a girl a while back and she asked me if I did coke. The date kinda sucked at that point. Since I'm skinny she thought I was a coke head. :S

Im starting to develop them, its awsm.  Ive also got some vasuclarity that has been popping up right along that line between the upper/lower quad area.  Its sucks man, my calves are soooo tiny, but my quads are strong and pretty big.  I look like one of those guys who never trains legs, untill you see my on the squat rack.

Yeah, calves is pretty much all genetics innit? I have quite big calves, compared to my quads. Could be from playing handball for a few years, I don't know, but I'm glad those aren't lagging behind.

Had an absolute shit day today. Lost my bike keys so had to walk all the way to the gym/home. Could've grabbed the bus home but didn't want to miss my workout. Did chest/biceps today. Didn't do a complete workout, but a more intense one. Shorter rests and a drop/neg set at the end of every muscle. Was a great way to get some anger outta my system.
