Try reading my post next time. I never said it makes you good, just gives that little edge and makes playing the game a more pleasant experience (Runs a lot smoother). It IS a built-in bug that has turned into a feature (they fixed the fps-physics dependency and circlejumping bug for quake 2 but reverted them back because people cried) and it would be stupid not to use it.
Then again I remember you saying hardcore is a better game mode than softcore so arguing with you is useless I guess
Maybe it's just differences then. I prefer just playing normally and not using all sorts of bugs to my advantage and shit like that. You prefer to have a game where you can use all the nasty little things to your advantage. I've always preferred hardcore over normal. I don't like that gaydar red dot crap, and I like it when guns are actually powerful, people play better in hardcore, they play more carefully and thought out.
This goes back to you wanting all the little advantages though whereas I want as many of that crap gone and the playing field a more level one.
It's not stupid to not use little bugs and glitches. It's actually what you call being normal and decent. Something you'd obviously never understand. The fact that you think it's stupid if someone doesn't use bugs and glitches, well surely that says everything. Fuck that.
I knew all of the shit in the CoD series, doesn't mean I used it. Only rarely. I can't see how someone could think it's fun or skillfull to use all the lame glitches. Did I feel stupid for not using what I knew was there? Hell no, I'd have felt more stupid using it than not. It's just a game, If I would need to resort to doing dumb shit just to succeed then there would be no point of even playing in the first place.
