I don't see the point in sniper rifles. For close to pretty far range akimbo G18s rape. And for those super long shots the M4 or ACR is also fine.

Okay I just completed the SP and I have to say it was quite a let-down. Like are they serious with the plot? Some cool stuff there (not the skimobiles or the boats though, the maneuvering was ridiculously easy), yeah, but it was mostly just killing 20 enemies, moving 20 meters, killing another 20 enemies etc. Felt much more like grinding than the former titles. Also took barely 7.5 hours on veteran even though I was fucking around all the time. Ezmode.

I almost ragequit twice in the progress.

Anyone else noticing really buggy hitboxes with the juggernauts?

I'm trying to complete echo spec-ops missions solo on veteran but i frequently find that my barret shots are simply having no effect. The first shot always hits and stuns them but after that (when they are squirming) i find that many of the shots simply don't appear to hit regardless of where you aim.

Very frustrating.

Anyway, I played the game on the 360 at a friend's house on Saturday and Sunday. The campaign is fun but the story sucks a hairy *!**.

I loved the Shield! It was so amazing! I think I might get it just for that, and the ACR

depends.
Your feets are exposed if you do not use the shield correctly.
I always lower my shield just a tiny bit so that my feet are covered to.
Then yeah you cannot be killed by direct fire.

there isn't much of a skill-curve to this game, a week later...

camp + get killstreaks.

pretty much the same style pub-play as mw1. great if you're talentless and semi-comatose, i suppose.

fun game for public play, but the low skill-ceiling will probably be the lifespan killer for me.

Well, that's when Grant Collier was working on CoD4. Now I think he works for Activision Blizzard. Times have changed; nothing we can do about it.
