easy now, y'all....   Keep it sane.  Thanks.

We've got i9's on our VM Servers.  Smoking awesome, tbh.

My top rigs are i7 and 965.  I've got an i5 and a 550 just waiting for cheap RAM.  I'll probably wait for BF3 specs before the next upgrade.

i9s? You talking about Xenons? Aren't they still classed as i7s?

i7 975 Extreme

I can't imagine BF3 having specs much above what BF:BC2 is running right now.

In my heart there is.

It was i9 for ages, then it was renamed as i7 980X on launch.

What intel names them at official launch, is what they are called... nothing else matters...

Digi-Key? Depending on what you mean by high voltage, Parts-express could have some, too.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Already tried digikey and newark, problem is I need 1000-2000V caps with high discharge rates. The ones I can find all have minimum order in that is 5x what I need.
