Would you teamkill to get an advantage/kill/point etc?

Hi guys,

As the title states do you guys teamkill to get an advantage? And no, I am not talking about splattering a guy's brains all over the cockpit so you can get your beloved jet or helicopter. For example, I was in a tank at Wake Island near South Base and busy killing some guys who were hiding in the trees sniping our team. However I got a rocket fired at me reducing me to just under half health but I saw the guy hide behind the sand bag wall at Beach. My coaxial overheated and all I had was my shell. I was going to fire but then a teammate ran out of nowhere with his knife out with the intention of knifing the AT. I had the option of waiting and seeing what happens but I also knew the AT would fire any second so I just fired my shell and blew them both away. I survived and got a kill but also a teamkill. I got punished (surprise, surprise). Should I have waited and hoped my teammate would kill in time or did I do the right thing? Also, have any of you guys commited similar acts in the heat of battle or just took the death in order to avoid that teamkill and inevitable punish?

you have to try pretty hard to not get teamkilled around me

I'll TK anyone who gets in my way, I'm constantly getting "CEASE FIRE!" And it does my fucking head in, it's always bigboybadman2136164262 on an M95 sniping at your body from some random Hill and he's too shit to see the lack of redtags.

I also run into any claymores wherever they are because eventually, they'll limit my movement and what I can do with myself in a given situation, I'll punish too.

Of course i don`t try to teamkill my mates, it`s a fucking team effort, if i kill my team mates my team and i will loose the game.
Having said that i must confess that i sometimes fuck up and get a teamkill, generally people running right in front of your tank or similar situations...

I only tk deliberately if said team-mate is a moron/jackass/shoots me first.

Yesterday I was playing on Ghost Town as SAS, we held both 'Upper N/S side' flags, and I was trying to get the Apache up from North side...our tank was sitting on the hill just looking in the direction of the heli spawn, as if he was camping it like Spets do all the time. Meanwhile, our team was getting raped by armour...I told him to go do something useful a few times, he didn't get the message, so I killed him with a couple of rockets and told someone to take the tank and kill people with it.

Sometimes idiots have to die for the sake of the team

In your case though, it's damn annoying when people kill the guy I'm about to knife, worse if he kills me too...although if you were gonna die then fuck it...if the guy wasn't a dork he wouldn't have punished.

I sometimes TK for luls and when I do Ill do it to the whiney one and do it only to him, drama ensues : )

Also if somebody TKs me while im waiting for jet/helo and gets in, Ill ALWAYS, EVERY TIME pick anti tank class and shoot him if he manages to take off. People usually learn to not TK me the hard way.

But then again its just a videogame, you wont lose anything if you get TKed or you TK some1

And as for the OP question... Myself I never spam nades/shoot where I know are friendlies, should be common sense.

I teamkill or kidnap people for fun when I get bored of the game. Usually if they have names similar to "Disturbed6371", "XmetaliicaGuitar666X", "Dain Bramaged", or gay noobish infy clans like {DAM} or BBUK etc.

I also follow the same people from server to server until they quit playing forever lulz.

Yeah, should be..whenever I've played IO, half the time after I kill an enemy my teammates will keep throwing nades at my position...

I tk anyone who stands infront of me and looks at me, and when im playing with friends, i ram into them over and over till they are mad in vent and leave the server or join I moved onto a new game until this patch came out, because i was banned from all airmap servers and most infy

98% of my TKs are accidental.

But if someone steals my vehicle while I'm repairing it and then FFs me to 2 bars of health its TK time. If I've had a few beers I sometimes jump into their squad and give them an earful too.

I never teamkill, only if its an accident. But i love the stupid midic hoes who walk over my dead body and they dont even revive me. You know they are running for the chopper or anything else, if they revive me i can take it from them so better they leave me.
Once a guy TK-ed me for the chopper, shot me in the back instantly when i was running for the respawned helicopter, he said "Sorry chief" and i punished him. After i respawned i said fuck him and shot him with a tank (i remembered his name) he said "OMG WTF WHY YOU TK ME?"

Sometimes when I want to heli/jet wh0re a little and there are no admins around I usually do that.

Usually leads into other people trying to shoot me when they see what I just did there, a massive drama eruption and threats of violence, finding me IRL and killing me or calling me with flavoury names.

I choose to ensure survival, so I would fire at the AT guy & take my chances TKing the guy that went to kill steal me. Surely he had to know you were there with a tank. FF on just ensures that I am going to pay anyone back the TKs me. If I get TKd out of the chopper, then I sit in the AA or a jeep at the flag with the pad & wait for said smoking chopper looking for repairs & blow him up. It's usually the TKers that are the whiniest if you TK them so you almost assured some epic lulz for paying them back.
