Call me classical but I really look forward to settling down one day and getting married. Like the whole 50s era sterotype of the husband leaving in the morning after helping the wife send the kids off to school. Anyone else here look forward to getting married?

Doesn't hold much appeal to me, I gotta say.

Yes but with the sister soul only. Otherwise marriage is useless, just a life sucking engagement.

hardcore devil worshippers no really, she lost her father in a car accident then 6 months later her mother diagnosed with cancer. we've been together since 13 so it was serious and got married so her mother could be there too basically. we'd probably be thinking about it within the next year now anyway, so no regrets getting married young.Uzique wrote:

It's the 21st Century now. She'll have the career and you'll be taking the kids to school in your Voyager, making them pb&j sammiches and preparing the dinner when the wife gets home.Macbeth wrote:

I was talking about getting engaged before the big stressful jump up to the 'living together' stage put some cracks in my relationship... I think getting engaged&married is still the idea, the 'vision' as such, but it's hard to be sure now that everything is up in the air . It would have likely been a 3-4 year engagement, anyway.
