I never played BC2. How did helicopter/jet repairs and reload work? I guess it's easy enough for choppers to land, but for planes it is more difficult. I would think you should be able to at least fly-by rearm.Ilocano wrote:

Same as old bf2 with the helipad pretty much. Although engineer could repair it as normal.

I would assume so. The infinite ammo system is goofy, but I feel the same for "replacing" any ammo of vehicles. Returning to a helipad seemed fine to me, but chucking ammo packs at a dude in a chopper is wonky. no you aren't, you're only connected to the server. everyone sends information to the server, and then the server sends the information back to everyone else. that's why it doesn't matter if people on the server have high pings, and servers who employed the high ping kick to try to keep the server lag free were retardedJohnG@lt wrote:

As long as there is no realistic counter against air vehicles, i.e. mobile AA (Stinger missiles) for infantry or mounted on fast vehicles (and not on slow tanks), air vehicles will ALWAYS dominate the game.

give AA stations short range then make them very effective. That way they're a deterrent to jets: if someone gets in range to bomb they die, if they fly off they survive. So, you can't freely go around bombing shit, but you don't get shot down by ADD kiddies who can't play the game either.
