There was someone who was really mad. Apparently hackers were everywhere.
lulz took up half the screen for like 45 minutes crying.
I began to enjoy BC2 after a little while. This game is just shit.

They did damage correctly (looking at vehicles especially here).
None of this disabling vehicles shit.
There wasn't blue tint everywhere with even more annoying red lines slashing through it.
They didn't try to pretend they were awesome.
Except for the M60 at first, things were balanced correctly and stayed that way.
They did not try to operate off of a fucking internet browser.
They did not force you to use Origin.
What I like about BF3
The whole gun attachment and perk system.
64 players.
That about covers it.
Fuck BF3, I wish people still played BC2.

Oh lord semiauto snipers on hardcore in that game were just silly. On Valapariso I'd get up on that hill behind a small rock overlooking the first objectives and play easy mode.

The disabling mechanic works very well in my opinion. Means good AT players don't just spam rockets at the front of a tank, they aim for the weak spots to actually kill the tank. While this happened in BF2, it was only done by the people who had a clue. Random pubbers just spammed rockets all over the tank.Commie Killer wrote:

GL and CG were immensely overpowered, then got reduced to just 'overpowered' status. AN-94 stayed overpowered for as long as I played. M60 even after it's 'nerf' was still the best gun in the game.Commie Killer wrote:

You don't even 'use' origin. It runs in the background, and when you start a game through the browser, it pops up saying "Launching BF3" for about 5 seconds. That's IT. That's the only time Origin makes an appearance.Commie Killer wrote:

All this being said, I really enjoyed BC2. It was great fun with friends, the maps were really nice, Rush was a new game mode for me, and I really enjoyed it. Fond memories of that game.

2 weeks ago i woulda said yes but now i don't even want to play it anymore. the only fun in the game is the novelty of using 'xyz' overpowered kit/item to rape everyone else and then /grin at your uber score (see above, for example). it gets old pretty fast. when you try to play the game with stock weapons to play with 'skill' and 'finesse', you just find yourself getting rpg'd or mortar'd or nightscop'd or mav'd or any of the other frustrating, easy things in the game that kill much, much better. it really is a bad fps game from all competitive points of view. if you want a mindless pub fragfest that will last you 50 hours (i.e. til max rank) then go ahead.
