Yeah, outside of America Michael Jordan aint all that. If we're talking globally I'd probably go with David Beckham.
Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.

Beckham was my guess. However when I asked the google man, he took me to wiki answers and it said it was Ali.

Bill Gates.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Globally Michael Jordan is bigger than David Beckham. I am quite sure of that. As is Pele.Switch wrote:

Jordan is a nobody here, and in the UK, and in every other country that doesn't have a huge Baseketball fan base, like 95% of the world.Zimmer wrote:

Beckham > Jordan.
I'd say among them are Ali, Tyson, Schumacher, Beckham, Woods, Jordan, Torvill & Dean, Pele, Jesse Owens can't think of any others right now.
Tiger Woods.
You just see him and you know exactly who he is. Especially when he's doing his famous fist pump.

It's probably gotta be Beckham, he's managed to tap into the American and Asian markets where football isn't so big
Maybe Michael Jordan

Pele, Ali, Jordan. Everyone else is far behind. Tiger is popular now with most of the world, but I think it's too early to say his legacy will last longer than Pele, Ali or Jordan.
Shut up jennings they're easily the most recognisable ice skaters, I was just reeling off arguably the most famous in their respective sports.
Muhammed Ali, Tiger Woods, Mike Tyson, Michael Jordan, probably Michael Schumacher as well.
Ice skating is for fairy fucks.
Sherrif mentioned it.
Therefore by power of deduction, Sherrif is a fairy fuck

Although Pele is arguable, there is no way Michael Jordan is more recognisable than David Beckham. As others have said, Basketball just isn't popular enough globally. If you showed everyone in the world a photograph of each, I'm certain more would recognise Beckham over Jordan.Zimmer wrote:

Tiger Woods is a good shout though.
