How did you get anything from UPlay, I have the 360 version too and whenever I got there it says the shop's coming soon and I assume that's where you get the theme and Altair's outfit and the 5 extra knives? How are people getting this stuff already?Poseidon wrote:
Just finished it. Got the Altair outfit, Auditore Crypt (secret map) and a 360 theme from UPlay too. A few questions though..
Spoiler (highlight to read):
Why does it take 5 times to defeat Borgia... and he's STILL not dead after it all? And what, we were made by aliens? And finally, what happened to DNA sequences 12 and 13? Why do you just skip over them?
Oh and, how do I get the Auditore cape? Or is it the plain brown cape? In my inventory there's one outfit that still hasn't been unlocked... dunno how to get it or if it's the Auditore cape itself.
The last achievements shouldn't be too hard. The feathers will be a pain but whatever. I've got 840/1000 now.
Yeah, and you end being George Washington or something.Poseidon wrote:

Have it span over a time, from 1776-1802 or something.
Or further ahead of that, you play as John Wilkes Booth
For all those - including myself - disappointed you couldn't free roam in Rome (lolz), rejoice!
http://kotaku.com/5467815/ezio-goes-to- … sins-creedDuring its third quarter financial conference call, Ubisoft revealed that the next Assassin's Creed adventure would see Ezio revisiting Rome, taking the fight to the Templar, when he's not busy taking out his friends online.
While we're still not sure how the online multiplayer will work in the next Assassin's Creed, but we do have news of a new location in the game. Our favorite Italian Renaissance assassin will be traveling to Rome in the new title, with an Ubisoft representative revealing Ezio's plans to "strike directly at the heart of the Templar Order."
So far the Assassin's Creed series has mainly dealt with the assassins reacting to the Templar's actions. Perhaps now is the time to act?
The spokesperson also mentioned the multiplayer aspect once again, not delivering any real details, but stressing the importance Ubi is laying on the multiplayer side of the title.
Does this quick follow-up to Assassin's Creed 2 mean that the franchise is going annual? "We can't comment on that yet," said CEO Yves Guillemot, "We are going to come very often (to) that franchise."
Just thought I'd post this for everyone who was looking forward to the PC version..

We've just received Assassin's Creed 2 and Settlers VII for review, and verified with Ubisoft that the DRM is the same as the boxed product. If you get disconnected while playing, you're booted out of the game. All your progress since the last checkpoint or savegame is lost, and your only options are to quit to Windows or wait until you're reconnected.
Good old intrusive DRM.Even if everyone in the world had perfect internet connections that never dropped out, this would still mean that any time Ubisoft's 'Master servers' are down for any reason, everyone playing a current Ubisoft game is kicked out of it and loses their progress.

Minerva is a Prothean. You heard it here first.
I just finished it too. What on earth was up with the ending.
Spoiler (highlight to read):
And yes I found it very frustrating that the Spaniard kept not dying. I lept from 20 feet above him and landed with my knife in his neck for goodness sake.
Is that extra level worth downloading from UPlay?

You don't go to Shop, you go left to the part where you can select 'Awards'. It'll say 0 and you click on it and you can choose things._j5689_ wrote:

There's always one feather in every section of a city that I can't seem to find. If you weren't keeping track of it from the beginning then you'll never even figure out its location on the map let alone the exact spot.
It's ridiculous that PC version is actually going backwards:
Assassin's Creed II for PC Uses Only DX9 Features

Looks like I'll be pirating it then. My net is pretty unstable at times, I'm not playing that without the DRM cracked.Spidery_Yoda wrote:

If there was one thing they could have done to get even legitimate buyers to crack their game it is that.
Its just funny more than anything. The duration of being connected to their servers is irrelevant...if its when you start the game or the whole time - a crack will still just completely bypass that.

This game is . It may be the best game I've played all year, actually.
