Best thing to do at the moment is just use Play Now and stick to whatever sever you're dealt and wait for people to come. I had a good few rounds just now despite having 90 ping.

When you type that number in the settings.ini file, that's the vertical FOV, not the horizontal one. The H-FOV will from that scale with your resolution. So if you have a 16x9 monitor and want a 90 degree H-FOV, you need to set that number (the V-FOV) to 60.

So the fish-eye comes from when silly people like yourselves think it's the H-FOV and set it to 90 without realizing it, so the H-FOV ends up being like 135 or some shit.

I actually put away the gl for most part and started using bullets.
I love getting killed by level 1 or 2 tards who already have stars on their nades or nade launchers.
I also love getting put on a team of morons who have obviously never played a BF game before and are stuck on their mode of MW2 deathmatch and refuse to use any teamwork.
Fortunately the game can still be a lot of fun, and I can't wait until a few months down the road when the "new"ness has worn off, bugs and issues are fixed, and the people that are actually interested and dedicated to the game will be in the majority.
I also love getting put on a team of morons who have obviously never played a BF game before and are stuck on their mode of MW2 deathmatch and refuse to use any teamwork.

It should take about 30 hours to unlock everything, but you only get unlocks for the first 25 ranks, the latter 25 you don't get any unlocks and they are likely harder to attain.Spark wrote:

1. I deleted the beta and all related files and folders
2.I manually updated PB
3. Downloaded and installed latest drivers for my video adapter
4. I fowarded the needed TCP and UDP connection ports on my router

Port: 13505 TCP
5. Ran the game from the steam directory as admin
6. Sorted game servers by players and joined a moderately populated server.
Has anyone else had issues with BC2 process not shutting down all the way? It will still be running even though I closed the game properly.
